Are you ready to add game-changing phrases to your repertoire?

In any significant verbal communication there are highlight statements that reveal key pieces of information, summarize a view, or refute an argument.  These single line statements can turn the debate, the campaign or even the war on a dime.

You are about to embark upon a great crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you.” Dwight D. Eisenhower D-Day Address

“I love you. You…..complete me.” Jerry McGuire

Are you ready to assemble christian dating advice for men power phrases?

Think for a moment about the earth shaking speeches that have changed the course of human history.   Within each speech a single phrase usually stands out and is embedded permanently into the collective memory.

It is these condensed morsels that unleash the greatest impact, and when utilized poignantly in the context of your relationship, truly spin the wheels of your pursuit.

Much unhappiness has come into the world because of bewilderment and things left unsaid.” Fyodor Dostoevsky

Few things are more woeful than opportunities missed, telegraphs undelivered, love unexpressed.  So here are two early stage power phrase templates to gird you up for big junctures to come.

“Could I take you out this week, so that I can get to know you better and share my heart with you?”

For an invitation this is huge.  Be direct and precise, dispense with the meandering rambles such as, “will you be at ___?” or “are you free?”   With an small degree of interpersonal connection and  attraction, she’ll free up some face time for you.   Keep both personal pronouns in close proximity (I invite/take/offer/ask you), and in-between share your specific, predetermined invitation.    Huge strength is unfurled with the simple act of asking and a targeted, confident offer has the highest success rate.   On the back end of this statement describe in plain language your objective for your time together.   Be direct, interesting and purposeful as this could be the first offer you make to your future wife.

“I’d like to pursue you with a view towards marriage.”

It was an awkward scene at the country western dance club where I came to meet Jennifer early in our relationship.   Truthfully we didn’t yet have relationship confirmation, we’d only been out two times and had developed an exciting connection, and on this night surrounded by other guys and gals our vibe just got weird.

We began to spin wildly.  We needed clarification.

After missing each other all night on the dance floor, I noticed her suddenly scurrying outside.   It was that moment that I knew it was time to let her know.

Christian Dating Advice For Men

At the dawn of your story, you must tell her clearly that you are serious about pursuing her for marriage.  She Needs To Hear This!  This is the DTP: Define The Pursuit!   This conversation is about ensuring that she is fully briefed on your intentions.   No reason to dally, since the prospect of marriage is front and center for everyone.

This is your upfront response to the classic paternal protection line, “What are your intentions for my daughter?”  It is in this conversation that you share with her your volitional will, the internal why behind your efforts.

By including the word “pursue” you will portray your focus.   You’ll show yourself to be a driven, purposeful man who takes initiative rather that letting it be taken for you!   Mention marriage as the road because that is the authentic goal.   Show her you’re not leading her into detours or deception.   After all you’re an upstanding, honorable guy!

Strong structure and effective employment of these two phrases and will pack quite a punch and help you confidently face up to the two most important early progressions in a marriage bound relationship.

The Ask and the Define The Pursuit (DTP)

These are two momentous moments and mastery of these dialogues will be decisive for you.

Would you like to express yourself confidently, state your desires and lead the woman you’re pursuing forward?

Soak on these two conversations.   Ponder in advance how you would like them to play out and roll them out when the timing is right.

You can master the tough conversations.  You are the male lead!

Don’t wait.  Don’t delay!
